We appreciate this detail, but installation actually requires the removal of the fan. With the cooler out of the packaging, we see that the 120mm fan comes pre-mounted to the heatsink tower. We presume this is just older packaging that needs to be updated, but a simple sticker could be placed on the box letting you know that AM4 support is there. While our Hyper 212 EVO did come with an AM4 mounting kit, the packaging makes no mention of its compatibility. The back of the box provides a small features list in multiple languages, along with multiple diagrams with measurements to assist in making sure the cooler will be compatible with your build.
